  • ETL Framework: Designed a reusable ETL Framework using VS Code, Git, Gitlab and a custom ETL template to streamline data ingestion and processing.
  • Innovation: Participated in the Reimagined Hackathon where I built a prototype for a workflow solution for our Operations Quality Assurance team to automate their manual workflow using Django & Bootstrap5.
  • People Analytics & Reporting: Stood up People Analytics & Reporting within Fin Crime Ops & Client Onboarding giving critical insights into workforce trends and metrics.
Role & Responsibilities
  • Business Insights & MI: Partnered with operations to build automated, self-serve dashboards, reports, and data pipelines using Python, Tableau, and Alteryx.
  • Alteryx Enablement: Led Alteryx infrastructure, permissions, and data access setup as part of the team's strategic BI adoption; also migrated 30+ local Python scripts to Alteryx for centralized, scheduled execution.
  • API & Integration: Extended automation by integrating REST APIs into ETL workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Custom Solutions: Built a reusable Python module for seamless multi-database connectivity with aliasing; created detailed documentation and introduced new tools to improve team productivity in data workflows.

  • JIRA Reporting Automation: Fully automated JIRA reporting with a JIRA Dashboard in Tableau using JIRA REST API and Alteryx to provide critical visibility to team workload.
  • Training: Trained team members on Alteryx best practices and advanced features, enhancing overall team capability.

  • Self-Serve reporting: Built multiple self-serve reports/dashboards/automation across multiple Finance teams using SQL, Tableau and Alteryx
  • Process Redesign: Redesigned the reporting process for organisation wide headcount budget planning cycle using Excel VBA & Alteryx to reduce turnaround time.
Successes
  • Data Mining/Natural Language Processing: Used Named Entity Recognition (implemented via SpaCy) and regular expressions (implemented using Python & Alteryx) for mining data to analyse source of email volume received multiple teams within the department.
  • Reporting Automation: Automated multiple operational processes requiring manual reconciliation/reporting. Delivered saving of 2000 FTE hours.
  • Machine Learning: Delivered a machine learning proof of concept on how to calculate Time to Recruit for various roles using historical data using Python and visualised via Tableau.
